A large family garden with lush planting for privacy, combined with spacious paving areas and a large Iron Bark wharf style deck for relaxing by the pool. The local Granite feature walling adds to the Eclectic Charm. Kids multi purpose synthetic grass area for a bit of 'one on one' or a practice putt.

The client's design brief was to create an outdoor entertainment area that linked the house interior with the exterior. This was achieved by the use of coloured feature walls and a stainless steel water feature that stands out during the day and also at night.

The client's design requirements were to create a modern clean design that draws the eye from inside to out and gives the illusion of depth to a small courtyard. A central water feature with cascading water and rendered screens each side of the garden for balance and width.

The design philosophy behind this project was to give the illusion of space. The eye is drawn deep into the courtyard by the water feature and the two rendered feature walls which highlight the paving and planting colours. The side paving steps out to create the illusion of width.

As this is the only outdoor living area on the property it was important to maximize the small area available. We needed to create a subtle illusion of space with the right balance of materials from pavers to pots to planting.
